Allan Marks is a partner at Milbank LLP and one of the world's leading project finance lawyers. Mr. Marks also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, where he teaches at both the Law School and the Haas School of Business. Mr. Marks speaks and publishes frequently on a range of topics, including finance, infrastructure investment, cross-border transactions, sustainability, and economic and regulatory policy. He is the host of the “Law, Policy & Markets: Milbank Conversations” podcast.
Mr. Marks advises corporations, private equity funds, institutional investors and lenders around the world in the development and financing of complex energy and infrastructure projects, as well as related acquisitions, restructurings and capital markets transactions. He has special expertise in the power and renewable energy, water, transportation, airports, telecommunications, oil and gas, rail and ports sectors.
Mr. Marks earned a BA in International Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
