The MirYam Institute evolved from the work begun by OSS
(Our Soldiers Speak). 

Founded in 2006, Our Soldiers Speak reached more than 450 campuses, and tens of thousands of future leaders throughout the course of its existence.

In addition to campus presentations, OSS lecturers presented policy briefings to legislators, in the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, and to policy and legislative staffers on Capitol Hill during the course of their exclusive lecture tours. 

It was also by way of the work of OSS that policy focused trips to the State of Israel were generated for select graduate and doctoral candidates from around the world and for cadets of the U.S. military academies prior to their service as officers in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.

The MirYam Institute is proud to carry forward the legacy of OSS and to build upon its achievements with a view to reaching ever more audiences, campuses, policy makers and communities for the betterment of the State of Israel and Jewish communities around the world.
