But Israel is not just a country. Israel is also a People, with a Diaspora that spreads to the four corners of the earth. That's why we facilitate constructive discussion, dialogue and debate about the state of Israel for communities overseas.

In this era of great polarization, we still believe that the overwhelming majority of Diaspora Jewry remains steadfast in their friendship and support of the one and only Jewish state.

Communities of various denominations and affiliations proudly view Israel as a central component of their Jewish identity.

As the only functioning democracy in the Middle East, Israel is home to open, robust debate about its own future.

In Israel, supporters of the state regularly pit their ideas and expertise against one another, as they work to ensure the continuation of a state that is Jewish, democratic and secure.

At the MirYam Institute, we applaud that ethos and we endorse principled debate. By way of MirYam's Community we are delighted to bring that same approach to international forums overseas.
