Dr. Daniel Suez received his medical degree from Paris Descartes University, Paris France, in 1975. He completed his Pediatric Residency in 1981, training first at the Versailles Medical Center in Versailles, France, then subsequently at the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, Israel.
Following a two year basic research program in immunology at the Weisman Institute in Rehovot Israel, Dr. Suez completed a three year Fellowship program in Pediatric Allergy/Immunology at The National Jewish Health for Immunology and Respiratory Diseases Hospital in Denver Colorado.
Dr. Suez served as an Associate Professor at The University of Texas in Tyler Medical Center from 1986 through 1992, where he headed the Allergy & Immunology Department then at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas from 1992 through 2016.
He is one of the founders of the Consortium of Independent Immunology Clinics (CIIC), an organization of Independent Private Immunology Clinics in the US with a common interest in caring for patients with Primary Immune Deficiencies (PID).
He served as the 1st CIIC President from 2013 through 2016. Dr. Suez is the author of more than 60 scientific publications in peer review medical journals and is actively engaged in clinical research and patient care.
