René-Pierre is a graduate of the French business school, HEC, the London Business School and the Graduate School of Business Studies at New York University.
He began his career in the service of the French Treasury as a business analyst detached to the French Chamber of Commerce in Japan before being hired by the Indosuez Bank in Tokyo to launch a new investment banking activity.
In 1985, Indosuez Bank offered him to move to New York and in 1987 he negotiated a partnership with the Blackstone Group, serving as the general manager of the Blackstone-Indosuez joint venture.
Ten years later, René-Pierre moved to Rothschild Inc. ultimately becoming one of the 50 Global Partners within the Rothschild Group.
His desire for independence pushed him to create his own mergers/acquisitions boutique, Tegris Advisors, in 2008.
He was for many years an active member of the American Jewish Committee, Chairman of AJC France, member of AJC’s Executive Committee, and was awarded the prestigious Herbert Lehman prize. René- Pierre also supported the creation and expansion of Our Soldiers Speak and The MirYam Institute.
Rene-Pierre was awarded the French Legion of Honor for his services to philanthropy and to international finance.
