Born in Iran and raised in Israel, Rozita Pnini undertook her IDF service in the Nahal Brigade, including during the course of the First Lebanon War.
She emigrated to the United States shortly after her service and began her career in the private sector, building a highly successful business from the ground up. Rozita is generally considered a leader among female CEOs in the fashion industry of New York.
She is particularly proud of having done so while raising her three daughters.
A longtime, active philanthropist, she began volunteering her time and expertise to Our Soldiers Speak in 2009, the precursor to the MirYam Institute, helping to steward the work of that organization across more than 450 campuses throughout the English speaking world.
A central feature of her portfolio is the coordination of MirYam Institute tours to Israel for elite graduate students from across the globe, cadets of US military academies - including the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps - and for faculty members from select academic institutions.
These gold-standard tours are a product of Rozita’s unique expertise.
