Yaakov Lappin
Yaakov Lappin is an Israel-based military affairs correspondent and analyst.
He provides insight and analysis for a number of media outlets, including Jane's Defense Weekly, a leading global military affairs magazine, and JNS.org, a news agency with wide distribution among Jewish communities in the U.S.
In the past, Yaakov worked as the defense correspondent for the Jerusalem Post.
He is also a research associate at the
Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University, and a frequent guest commentator on international television news networks, including Sky News and I-24.
He is the author of Virtual Caliphate -
Exposing the Islamist state on the Internet.
Yaakov holds and BA in Politics & Modern History from the University of Manchester and an MA in the History of International Relations from the London School of Economics.
